I really liked these designs so far so I thought it might be nice to show some of what I do for school.

The project is to design 25 garments for a sport. I used to be a Ballet Dancer so I convinced my teacher to let me do Ballet outfits. So here are 4 that I liked, I might put up a few more too later. And if they are nice, I will scan the actual fashion figures I do, not just the flats.

I do my flat sketches first in pencil, then I ink with Copic multi-liners. I scan them into photoshop, clean up the lines and up the brightness and contrast to ensure there are only shades of white and black. Then I add my color. I find its more consistent to color flats in the computer, not to mention much faster if you have a printed fabric.

The design on the print is not something I designed. Its a Moet & Chandon advertisement from the late 1800's by Art Nouveau artist, Alphonse Mucha, who I love and whose work is my inspiration on this project.

These are fabulous. The colors you're using are some of my favorites. I like that you took the basic pink leotard and added a little spunk to it.

hehe yea, when I was a dancer I didnt like the whole baby pink thing, but I made it work here! :D thanks a lot!!! :heart:
