Artist's Comments
This is my term garment from this semester. I finished it at 4am and was quite relieved that it looked OK when I got to class. There are two dresses, one in denim with a silver finish, and one in black mesh with satin trim and ruffles. I also made a petticoat for underneath. Also let me just say that stretch mesh is a bitch to sew, and particularly to bind and pin tuck. Now I just have to wait until tomorrow to see if it gets into the exhibit.
