I started working at my old job again, its nice to have income again! Its nothing design related though, so Im still trying to find artistic outlets. Ive had a very busy couple of weeks, finished and delivered 4 commissions. We also had a bit of an apartment emergency, ceiling leaks of epic proportions, which complicated things for a while.

I would like to keep doing commissions but Im being a little more selective on where I advertise about it, since I was getting hammered with tons of ridiculous requests and people who were not actually serious about it.
So anyone want me to make stuff for you? lol. Ill do costumes, dresses, corsets, accessories, etc... anything really.

In the next week or so I want to put together a new collection of more sportswear designs to take on interviews. Ive got some nice ideas, but I have to find time to go get swatches. bah.

I finally put somethings in my Etsy store [link] . I plan on putting much more in there eventually, but for now its mostly just stuff I had lying around that I made while at FIT. I also have a big bin full of Vintage stuff to photograph and put up. So expect that soon!

I am already kicking around an idea for a mini collection of dresses and tops to sell. I just have to find the time to do it.

I hopefully will be starting up at my old job again October 5th, its nothing exciting, or at all fashion related but its a great place and a good paycheck, so I am very happy they could take me back. It will give me some time to really think about how I want to proceed with my fashion career. Right now I am feeling that its a good time to try and start something online and build from there. So the next few months I want to start designing on my own and making things to sell in order to build a name and image that could one day become a brand of my own.

I will definitely keep everything updated here and hopefully some of you will want to buy my clothes!


Also NY Anime Fest is next weekend. LOL I haven't started my costume. What else is new!

Street Fashion Lolita Ensemble - $200 OR denim dress- $100/mesh dress - $110
Two dresses, one metallic denim with a lace up ribbon back, and the other is entirely stretch mesh with ruffle and pintuck details. Short petticoat also included if you would like it. Dresses can be worn together or separate.

Hand shaped pieces of lace appliqued together to form a "seamless" look on the body. Cute ribbon details and pearl button closure down the back.

Silver Silk Shantung Bubble Dress and Knit Top - $60 for both OR $20 - top/$45 - dress
Nice little silver bubble dress, fairly short, also has a pretty large bust measurment(for me LOL) Its about 38" at the bust (so like maybe a 36C bra size). Knit top is just a cute little cuffed long sleeve jersey knit shirt with wide off the shoulder boat neckline. Great too as a dance or yoga cover up!

Brown fur trimmed Corset - $75
Steel boned corset made from brown twill with gold jacquard floral design. Trimmed with a very nice faux fur. Front busk and back lace up.

Black Semi-Sheer Sweater with Sequin Wings - $50
Rib knit top, sheer jersey bottom and sleeves. Finished with elastic trim. Sequined wing appliques on the back. Both knits are wool, Rib knit is 50% angora even!

Simple little bubble top I made out of ivory illusion netting with a green ribbon tie at the empire line and hem, floral beaded lace applique.

Very old costume, but made very nicely, I may not have all the jewelry and possibly not the veil anymore. If you are interested I can easily make a new veil if you want, just add an extra $10 to pay for the fabric!

Otakon was pretty good this year. I was really happy with my costumes, even though Sakura still needs some work done on it. I got to hang out with a lot of people too! Hopefully I will have pictures soon of the costumes!

I decided to try and finish Ashe for the Upstate NY Cosplay Picnic in August. And then its Dragon*Con. SO LOL I HAVE A LOT TO DO!
